I picked this up from a bundle and finally got to play it with my son (7) and wife around a campfire on a whim --> If you let your imagination fly and "roll with it" it was a ton of fun. My son has since requested it several times and I've had to expand the arcane chaos tables quite a bit and flesh out a few more details so "Jimmy the Racoon" can have a bit more replayability and character development!
5 out of 5, sleeper hit for the family. Great gateway game.
I came for the cute raccoon, I stayed for the mayhem! I GM'd my first session of Scramble Wizards yesterday, and it's been a lot of fun! The only complaint I received from the players is that they'd have liked larger potion effect tables, but seeing a fluffily clumsy group of critters become a swarm of armored nightmares has been an entertaining surprise for everyone.
On a personal note, I loved the stains on the tables page.
I asked each player how many potions did their raccoon drink between 1 (d6 table) and 4 (d12 table) and gave each one the relative die, as that's how I interpreted the game.
I suppose you can use a bigger one each time they have to roll as well, if you prefer, though.
Scramble Wizards is a mini-RPG about racoons imbued with magical potions. The kind wizard is missing, probably kidnapped by some evil-doer! It is up to you and your magical racoon friends to save them.

I liked this quite a lot BTW need to beef up some rules on items and magic stats but should work great with kids.
There are 4 Arcane Chaos Table. Any idea when to use which one?

Yeah it's all very vague and poorly written,
